EMAC Buses LLC Travel Terms and Conditions Baggage Policy EMAC Buses LLC does not provide checked baggage service. However, passengers on EMAC Buses’ are entitled to stow baggage in the cargo compartment of the coach. Passengers are also permitted to take on board carry-on baggage to be stored in the overhead storage. EMAC Buses LLC assume no responsibility of any kind for customer items and/or baggage. Cargo Compartment Up to three (3) bags per adult passenger reservation (at no extra charge) Each bag can weigh no more than 50 pounds Acceptable baggage includes suitcases, duffel bags and trunks A child is allowed 1 bag (with the same weight restrictions) EMAC Buses LLC recommend that passengers label their luggage with names, addresses and contact numbers. Passengers are responsible for placing baggage into the cargo compartment and for retrieving it upon arrival at your destination All baggage must be claimed promptly upon arrival at destination Baggage may not be placed in the isle of the coach or at the customer’s leg Additional bags will incur a fee of $15 per bag Baggage fees are non-refundable Baggage fees waived for active U.S. military with ID traveling on orders (proof of documentation required) Items such as money, prescription medication and laptops cannot be stored in the cargo compartment and must be carried by the passenger at all times Unacceptable bag contents include illegal substances, stolen goods, contraband, animals, corpses, explosive materials, disabling chemicals, animals, some flammable items and all guns and firearms Security regulations may require EMAC Buses LLC to disclose to government agencies the contents of a passenger’s bag/s. At that time you will be advised. Note that ALL bags are subject to search Overhead Storage Used for carry-on baggage or items Each passenger is allowed one (1) carry-on bag Bag can weigh no more than 25 pounds Carry-on baggage must fit into overhead compartment Carry-on baggage is considered to be a handbag, briefcase or laptop bag, baby diaper bag A child is allowed 1 carry-on bag (with the same weight restrictions) EMAC Buses LLC recommend that passengers label their luggage with names, addresses and contact numbers. At that time you will be advised. Note that ALL bags are subject to search Baggage Insurance Liability: EMAC Buses LLC assumes no responsibility of any kind for customer items and/or baggage/s. EMAC Buses LLC does not accept any liability for damaged baggage/s stowed in the cargo. EMAC Buses LLC does not accept any liability for carry-on baggage/s or items stowed in the Overhead Storage. EMAC Buses LLC does not accept any liability for carry-on or excess baggage. EMAC Buses LLC’s maximum liability for lost baggage is capped at $100.00 for all bags stowed in the cargo compartment. EMAC Buses LLC will only be responsible to reimburse passengers up to the maximum liability limit in the event of negligence on its part. In order to receive funds for lost baggage, passengers must complete and file a claim’s report with the corporate office. You must contact EMAC Buses LLC on or before your scheduled trip to cancel any portion of the trip or the entire trip. The cancellation can be requested by contacting customer service at Toll Free @ (844) 278-3622, GA @ (678)278-2192, NY @ (718) 278-3593. Advance notification is required to avoid forfeiting the entire value of your reservation. Cancellations require 72 hours’ notice prior to date of travel in order to receive a refund. A cancellation fee of $25.00 will apply and be deducted from the returned amount. If notice is not given, your trip will either cancel or expire for lack of. Ten minutes prior to departure, EMAC Buses LLC reserve the right to release your reservation if you have not showed up or notified an EMAC representative and/or claimed your seat. We will then make all empty seats available to walk up customers. If you are a no-show, your reservation is forfeited and cannot be rescheduled. Customers whose behavior is disruptive to other EMAC passengers or infringes the rights, safety or well-being of others, will not be permitted to board our motor coaches and may be referred to local law enforcement officer for removal off the bus. Inappropriate disruptive behavior includes but not limited to: Any activity prohibited by law Any conduct that interferes with others’ use, safety and/or enjoyment of the services provided by EMAC Buses LLC. Any behavior which may disturb other patrons’ privacy and solitude Loud and/or unnecessary noise. This includes noise created by cell phones and other devices. EMAC Buses LLC request that passengers turn down the sound of such devices when traveling on our coach. Harassment or threats to revenue passengers. This includes stalking, prolonged staring and the use of inappropriate language. Leaving young children unattended or unsupervised. Using the restroom for extended amount of time. Failing to comply with a reasonable EMAC Buses LLC associates’ request. Having a personal scent or odor so strong as to be offensive. Our representatives will differentiate between situations that require tolerance and those that require action but will always err on the side of safety for our passengers. Additionally these rules will be enforced in a fair and reasonable manner. The decision will be made without regard to race, color, creed, disability or national origin. Daily Promotions Daily Promotions are subject to change at any time. Daily Promotions can be combined within promotions (up to 2 promotions per transaction). Daily Promotions cannot not be combined with other programs (such as E.Specials) or any other form of coupon, discount and credit. Daily Promotions can only be applied to trips books with one of our reservation Specialist / live operator transaction. Daily Promotions cannot be applied to reservation sales for travel on premium days (New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Valentine’s Day, Washington’s Birthday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day). Daily Promotions cannot be applied to reservation sales for travel on the day before or after premium days. Daily Promotions can be combined for a total not to exceed $10 towards the full price purchase of an adult reservation per trip. Daily Promotions cannot be applied to the purchase of a child’s (age 5 years and younger) reservation. Dress Code Because EMAC Buses LLC intends to change the standards of transportation and the quality of customer service. So much that we have taken into consideration every aspect of the business even down to travel attire. We require our employees to be dressed appropriately at all times and ask that our passengers consider doing the same. For the comfort of all appropriate travel attire is required and with that we ask that our passengers are dressed neat, clean and in good taste. Acceptable attire includes suits, pants, jackets, shirts, skirts, dresses, jeans, t-shirts, shirts without collars, and footwear (passengers cannot be barefoot). Bearing in mind that clothing with offensive terminology or graphics is prohibited. Passengers who are improperly dressed will not be permitted to board any of the motor coach buses. Additionally, once passengers have boarded an EMAC motor coach it is a violation of travel to change into inappropriate clothing or remove articles of clothing. E.Specials E.Specials are promotions with assigned dates and times of expiration. E.Specials will only be honored if reservations are booked within the time allotted. E.Specials will only be honored on trips books with one of our reservationists / live operator transactions. E.Specials are subject to availability and can change at any time without notice. If the advertised E.Special is no longer available at the time of final booking, the current price will be presented and/or displayed as an option. E.Specials are based on the purchase of a round trip reservation. E.Specials cannot not be combined with other programs (such as Daily Promotions) or any other form of coupon, discount and credit. E.Specials cannot be applied to reservation sales for travel on premium days (New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Valentine’s Day, Washington’s Birthday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day). E.Specials cannot be applied to reservation sales for travel on the day before or after premium days. E.Specials cannot be applied to the purchase of a child’s (age 5 years and younger) reservation. Fares & Reservations Until purchased fares are subject to change without notice. Fares will vary by reservation date and demand for seats. Fares and charges are shown in US dollars and cents, and can only be paid in United States currency. A service fee may be assessed at sale. This fee is nonrefundable and non-negotiable. All reservations are subject to applicable service fees, local, state, and/or Federal sales taxes. Once the reservation is confirmed, your desired method of payment will be charged to complete the transaction and an e-confirmation will be issued. All reservations are good only for the date and location you have selected. Reservations are non-transferable and expires at the close of business day of the scheduled trip (at 8:00pm est.) Passengers will receive an email confirmation of the reservation. Passengers will receive an email notification of EMAC Buses LLC Terms and Conditions. A confirmed purchase is a reservation and guarantees you a seat on the bus on the date and location you’ve selected provided you arrive at the departure point no later than 10 minutes prior to your scheduled departure. Any change to this reservation (including dates and/or location) will be subject to a $25.00 change fee per passenger. The new itinerary will be priced at the cost of a full price reservation and promotions, specials and discounts may not apply at that time. Any change to your reservation may result in a fare increase. Please bring your e-reservation with you and present to the EMAC Buses representative at time of travel Unused or partially used reservations have no refund value. EMAC Buses LLC reserves the right to deny boarding to anyone who acquired a reservation in violation of its rules and regulations. EMAC Buses LLC reserves the right to deny boarding to anyone that presents an e-reservation that has been tampered with or altered. No refund will be made in relation to any reservation refused due to fraudulent use. Forms of Identification Passengers are required to provide a valid unexpired government issued photo ID in order to travel. Your first name, middle name and last name must match the ID you present to the EMAC representative at the time of travel. General Information We are committed to protecting our passenger’s privacy. Your information is kept private and confidential. You must be 18 years of age or older to make travel reservations with EMAC Buses LLC. EMAC Buses LLC recommend you provide a contact number (preferably a cell phone) so we can contact you in the event of a service change, disruption and/or delay. Passengers that are minors will need to be accompanied by an adult when traveling on EMAC Buses LLC. Passengers are required to be at their departure location at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. EMAC Buses LLC representatives will be available to assist passengers three (3) hours prior to the schedule departure time. Passengers are advised that while traveling with EMAC Buses LLC to adhere to the instructions of the EMAC Buses LLC representative. Federal law prohibits smoking aboard the bus. EMAC Buses LLC reserves the right to refuse to transport any person under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs. Each and every one of our passengers come first and we ask that you observe the highest standards of courtesy and conduct toward everyone with whom you come in contact. Be alert to the needs of other passengers. EMAC Buses LLC reserves the right to refuse to transport any person whose conduct is inappropriate and may be deemed harmful to other passengers. Offer to move so passengers traveling together may sit together or otherwise be more comfortable. EMAC Buses LLC reserves the right to take full control of the seating arrangements aboard its motor coach buses. It is at the representative’s discretion as to the seating of passengers and the right to change such seating at any time during the trip. Seating arrangements will be made without regard to race, color, creed, or national origin. EMAC Buses LLC make an effort to provide free WiFi service and/or other amenities on our buses. However, if these amenities are not available no refund or credit will be issued. EMAC Buses LLC does not transport or allow the transport of weapons of any kind or any material that would be classified by the DOT as hazardous material. The possession of any illegal substance, stolen goods or other contraband is strictly forbidden on or around the vicinity in which EMAC Buses LLC conduct business. Note that ALL bags are subject to search Buses LLC may disclose the passenger’s personal information, including reservation & payment information and contents of bags, as required by law, upon the order of a court and at the request of a governmental law enforcement agency. EMAC Buses LLC owns all copyrights, trademarks, service marks, trade names and all information regarding services, schedules, routes, fares, text, graphics, button icons, audio and video clips, digital downloads, data compilations, logos etc. Incidents & Claims The purpose of the Incident recording and Claims reporting process is to make certain that incidents and claims are investigated according to EMAC’s policy. This policy applies to any and all travel-related and/or operating incidents and claims that may have affected passengers, employees and contractors performing work on behalf of EMAC Buses LLC. Policy EMAC representatives are required to report all incidents and claims to the corporate office. All incidents and claims must be reported in writing and on its respective form (incident report form and claims report form). Incident sites should not be disturbed unless the safety of passengers and/or employees is at risk. Incident reports and/or claims will be reviewed by EMAC’s management and possibly the CEO as appropriate to the severity or potential severity of the report. All will be reported, recorded and investigated following company and regulatory requirements. Items from incidents and/or claims will be documented and tracked for completion and will be followed-up with all participants involved. Any action required as the result of an investigation will be recorded and all parties will be notified in writing. Infant/Toddler Travelers EMAC Buses LLC reserve the right to take every possible precaution when addressing the safety of infant/toddler passengers. As a safety measure EMAC Buses LLC requires infant and toddler passengers (24 months and younger) to travel in a child restraint device or car seat. If you are traveling with an infant/toddler, the child is allowed 1 fully collapsible stroller (at no extra charge). If you’re traveling with an infant/toddler, the child is allowed 1 child restraint device or car seat (at no charge). If you do not have a child restraint device or car seat EMAC Buses LLC can provide one at a rental rate of $25.00 per child per trip. Upon arrival at passenger’s destination the child restraint device or car seat provided by EMAC Buses LLC must be returned in the same condition in which it was provided or a replacement fee of US $100.00 will be imposed. Methods of Payment EMAC Buses accept all major credit cards including American Express and Discover. We also accept debit cards with the MasterCard and Visa logos. Pets and Animals EMAC Buses LLC do not allow pets of any kind (which include dogs, cats, birds, fish, snakes or other animals) to board any of its motor coach buses. No pets are allowed to be transported as baggage in the cargo compartment. We are not in the business of transporting animals. However, service animals trained for the purpose of accompanying a disabled person will be permitted to travel (at no extra charge). Passenger/s with disabilities accompanied by a legitimate service animal/s are solely responsible for the animal. At all times the animal must be on a leash, harness or carrier and must ride in the bus within the customer’s space. The service animal may not travel in the aisle or occupy a seat. EMAC Buses reserves the right to refuse passage to any service animal that poses a threat to the health, safety and comfort of other passengers, employees or contractors performing work on behalf of EMAC Buses LLC. Premium Days During peak travel periods EMAC Buses LLC reserve the rights to restrict the use of promotions, specials and/or any other form of discount and credit towards the purchase of a reservation. This restriction applies to one-way and round-trip reservations (both going and returning). Premium days typically fall on or around major federal holidays and other peak travel seasons (New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Valentine’s Day, Washington’s Birthday, Easter Day, Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, Father’s Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day). These restrictions also apply to reservation sales for travel on the day before and/or after premium days. Service Fee A service fee will be applied to all purchased reservations. The service fee is US $1.50 per reservation per way, but not to exceed US $12.00. This fee is charged to cover bank and administration charges related to your reservation. Reservations made by telephone will assess the same rate and fees as those made on the internet. Special Accommodations EMAC Buses LLC welcome all customers regardless of race, color, creed, disability or national origin. EMAC Buses LLC will attempt to provide accessible transportation service to customers with disabilities. Passengers in need of special accommodations are required to make request with one of our reservationists / live operator transaction. Our apologies, but EMAC Buses LLC is unable to fulfill request for Special Needs from walk-up customers. Passengers are not required to indicate the type of disability they have but only that they have Special Needs preferences due to a disability. We strongly recommend that passengers requiring special accommodations make a reservation in advance (at least 14 days prior to bus departure) to guarantee a seat on the bus. This will also allow us to do our very best to accommodate you during your travel with EMAC Buses LLC. Because we value our customers and are committed to protecting their rights, if for any reason you would like to speak to a representative about your needs and/or rights, please call us at (844) 278-3622. Travel Time/ Trip Duration EMAC Buses LLC will not be liable for delays caused by accidents, breakdowns, road conditions, weather, traffic and/or other conditions beyond its control. EMAC Buses LLC reserves the right, when operating conditions require, to transfer passengers from one vehicle to another en route. EMAC Buses reserves the right to reissue reservations due to service failure or weather conditions. Such decision will be at EMAC Buses discretion.
