How to change the form width

Last Update: November 4, 2011

You may want to change your form's width according to the size of your website. You can easily do this with JotForm.

While you are editing your form click on the "Form Style" tab on the toolbar:

Then click on the Form Width button to adjust your form's width:

You'll be able to see how wide your form is during the adjustment by the help of a dashed border:

When you finish your adjustment, click preview and see the results. Always make sure to test your form before adding it to your site.

Get the html source code and put as many new line character codes (html - br ) as you want in the code. Height is automatically resized according to the space form elements occupy.

Is there a way to decrease the top and bottom padding between fields? so that height of the form also decreases?

ebsconsulting: Yes, you can change the spacing between fields from "Preferences".

How can you increase the spacing between the check box responses. I have it set up for 3 columns and the page width is definitely wide enough to accommodate the text but the check box responses are extremely close to each other.
