We have team members from Philippines, El Salvador, US, Canada, UK, Ukraine, India, Sri Lanka, Kenya and Barbados. Since many JotForm users also have their own customers I wanted share this with you as well.]

    You all have great communication skills. You all have great technical skills. You all care about JotForm and our users. You are all warm, nice and caring people. We took great care to make sure you are the right person when we hired you.

    But, people make mistakes. We all make these mistakes. It is very hard to be top of your game all the time. 

    What if we had a checklist that reminded all important factors that make the support team more successful? A checklist that you can review time to time to make sure you are on track. This is my attempt to provide such a checklist.

  • Introducing JotForm Labs

    All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy! That’s why we blow off steam time to time with our culture of hackathons. In these events, our engineers are free to work on whatever they choose.

    The goal on our recent hackathon was to improve our (not yet publicly released) API. Our engineers were allowed to work on any kind of project they choose, but there was a big constraint: They had to use JotForm API to store all data. They were not allowed to keep the data on a database or locally on the server. They were required to keep the data on JotForm database and use the Jotform API to access it.

    The hackathon was a great success! Not only did we improve the Jotform API as we hoped, but also we came up with 4 great apps for JotForm users.

    Today, we are releasing these 4 apps and a new site: JotForm Labs.

  • JotForm is now on Zapier: Send Your Form Data to 100+ Web Services

    Zapier is a web service that let’s you connect web services. You can get data from a web service such as JotForm and sync it to over 100 other web services. The great thing about it is that once you setup the integration, it will keep working on the background. 



    Here are some possible use cases:
    - Send data from a lead generation form to a CRM or to your Asana todo inbox.
    - Add entries on a reservation form to Google Calendar
    - Create new tickets on a support app such as Zendesk
    - Push new form entries to Campfire chat or to your AIM 
    - Automatically send a tweet when there is a new form entry
    - Create invoice in Quickbooks or Freshbooks from new form entries
    - Create a GitHub issue from a JotForm form

  • Send Your Form Uploads to Google Drive

    We are very excited to announce our new integration with Google Drive. You can now send files uploaded on your forms directly to your Google Drive folder. 

                                     



    Google Drive is a great way to share your files among different computers and mobile devices. Integrating your form with your Google Drive account takes less than a minute. Once your complete the integration, when someone submits your form we will instantly send uploaded files and the data on the forms to your Google Drive folder.  



    The screenshot above describes what happens when you integrate with Google Drive and get a submission. 
    1. Folder name will be same as your form name, so that you can see all of your files under a single folder for each form. 
    2. Individual submission folder names can be customized. So, for example, you may choose to have the "Name" question on your form for that. 
    3. We will also create a PDF file that contains all data submitted with the form. 
    4. Finally, all of the uploaded files will be transferred to this folder.
