Google Calendar is one of the most popular calendaring applications today. You can use it to schedule events and book appointments. The Google Calendar Integration With Jotform allows you to connect your form to Google Calendar and create events with your form.
To integrate Google Calendar with your form
- In the Form Builder, go to Settings at the top.
- Select Integrations on the left.
- Search and select Google Calendar.
Note: You can perform the same steps above to edit your existing Google Calendar integration.
- Select Authenticate and connect your Google Calendar account.
- In the authentication dialog, select all the required permissions, then select Continue at the bottom.
- Next, choose your desired calendar.
Or choose one of your dropdown or single-choice fields to set the calendar dynamically — the options in those fields should have the same names as your calendars. - Map your form fields to your calendar.
Note: The Start time field accepts Appointment and Date Picker elements. - Toggle Create a new event when a submission is edited according to your needs. See How to Reschedule Appointments to learn more.
- Once you’re done, select Save at the bottom.
Your integration now is ready to run. A Google Calendar event will be created every time you get a form submission.
You can connect other calendars in your account using the same integration. This will allow you to design multiple workflows while keeping everything synced.

Can you give us any more details about the reason why Jotforms can't sync both ways? Is it political, financial?
I'm pretty sure it's not technical as there are many other apps that integrate to allow two-way communication between them and Google Calendar (Calendly, SimplyBook.me, etc.).
I love everything else about Jotforms, but I would love to bring my booking system into it, but the workarounds that are being suggested are just not practical.

I have a small problem to solve with jotform and the google calendar.
- i create tours with different date and time each time
- the duration of the tour is also variable
to import the tour itself in the google calendar the fields must be DataPicker or Appointement.
- it would be interesting to be able to choose the departure time with a datapicker, indicate the duration and get the result in a second datapicker already complicated with (departure time + tour duration)
- alternatively use an appointement and enter the desired time and duration
at the moment I am using two datapicker fields to be filled in manually and a duration field also to be filled in manually, as each tour has at least 1 outward and 1 return I have to enter the tour date 4 times which I personally find impractical.
Are there any solutions or widgets that can make life easier?

I would like to be able to keep track of the two calendars and thus recognise what is actually confirmed.
for the first part I have no problems and everything works fine... when I make the link to the confirmed calendar in the menu I don't see the choice

How do I configure the Google calendar integration to accept the date I select using the "Date Reservation Widget" as the "Start time *". I am a tattoo artist and only work every second Saturday, I can’t seam to figure out how to change that with the appointment section of the form.

This integration almost works. There seems to be some communication between the form and the google calendar that is lacking. If an event is deleted from the calendar or from the form inbox, it doesn't affect the other so you have to manually delete in both places. Also, if you edit an appointment submission from the form inbox the updated submission appointment time creates a new event on the google calendar but does not delete the replaced edited event.

I agree with other commenters here that Jotform doesn't actually check my calendar before booking a new appointment. Too bad the calendar integration does not flow both directions. Kind of makes it pointless if it doesn't check my calendar before booking a new appointment.

The real problem are double appointments.
If google calendar has an appointment scheduled you should not be able to select that time and date for another appointment on jotform.
I don't want to have multiple customers to shedule the same time and day.
Is it possible to solve this?
I can't read Jonathan's answer 'cause 404 the page does not exist so please tell me if there's a way to solve this issue

When someone fills out the form, there should be an option to use that person's email to add them as a Guest or attendee of the event that gets scheduled. That would also allow the calendar to send them the invite.
I currently allow transcribers to schedule their test with a Google form, then use Zapier to add their scheduled test to the calendar. I would like to actually have the application and test scheduling together on one Jotform, but I would need to be able to add them to the event so that my other zap can email them the testing materials.

You guys may want to note in the integration info that it is only one way - a calendar that allows double bookings kinda defeats the purpose. Is there any plan to make the integration 2 way, or any workaround?

Hola.. necesito sincronizar 2 formularios de turnos con la agenda de Google. En cada formulario se ofrecen 6 horarios por día. Pero si se elije una hora de un determinado día en un formulario y se reserva el turno, en el otro formulario el mismo turno todavía continúa libre. En la agenda se graban correctamente los turno.
