In Jotform, transferring forms and associated data from one account to another is possible, but it requires a formal transfer process. Here are the key points and steps involved:
- You must have the correct email address of the new owner.
- The forms to be transferred should not be connected to Jotform products like Apps, Store Builder, or Workflows; these connections must be removed before transfer.
- HIPAA-enabled accounts cannot transfer forms.
- Enterprise accounts require contacting Enterprise Support for transfers.
To transfer forms and data:
- Go to the Data page of the current account.
- Click the Transfer Forms button at the bottom of the page.
- Enter the verification code sent to the registered email address.
- Search and select the forms to transfer.
- Click the Transfer Forms button to initiate the transfer.
The new owner will receive a transfer request that they must accept to complete the process.
Regarding access to the previous user's account or data, Jotform does not allow direct access to another user's account for security and privacy reasons. The proper way to continue work started by another user is through the form transfer process described above.
