Hi, on my form "https://form.jotform.com/240806725900656" I have a data field "Data de Emissão" where I collect data on the format "DD/MM/YYYY". I want to still continue collecting data on this setting, but I would like to send it to my linked sheet in the format "MM/DD/YYYY". Is this possibel?
I think I need to create another field that capture "Data de Emissão" information and changes it to the format I want... please let me know how i can do this

    Hello Daniel,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support and we’re sorry you’re having trouble with this. I understand you want to map your collected dates in your preferred format, but when I tested it, it did not map as MM/DD/YYYY.

Google Sheets will mapped your date picker to the format specified on your form. To achieve your request, you have to manually format the column containing these dates in Google Sheets using your preferred format. This guide from Google Help explains how to format dates in Google Sheets.

Reach out again if there’s anything else we can help you with.

thanks Mary. Another way, its possible to create another field that captures the input from "Data de Emissão" which comes as  "DD/MM/YYYY" and send it to another field as "MM/DD/YYYY"?

    Hello Daniel,

Thanks for getting back to us and for sharing this idea. Upon testing this, it's possible to copy the Date Picker from the first date picker with DD/MM/YYYY format to MM/DD/YYYY format using conditional logic. Let me show you how to set this up:

    1. In Form Builder, click on the Settings tab in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page.
    2. Under the Conditions tab, click on Add a New Condition and then click on Update/Calculate Field.
    3. Set the conditions as you see below and click on Save.

Please note to hide the second date picker with your preferred format so that it does not appear in the form when accessed by your form respondents.

Give it a try and reach out again if you have any other questions.
