Hi,
i want to create a different amount of follow-up questions, depending of the answer of the question before that.
Example:
I ask the customer how many kids he has with a single choice question in my document (Choices range from 0 to 5 for example).
If he clicks on 2, the dependent follow-up questions show up twice, like the name of the children, the date of birth, and so on.
Is it possible to do that in jotform?
Thank you very much in advance.
Best regards and Greetings from Germany,

BerkHi Johannes,
Thanks for reaching out to us for help.
You want to create a dynamic number of follow-up questions based on the answer to a previous question, such as asking how many kids a customer has and then showing a set of questions (like name and date of birth) repeated that many times.
Let me help you with that:
- Use the Configurable List widget: This widget allows you to define a set of fields that can be duplicated by the user as many times as needed. For example, you can create fields for the child's name, date of birth, etc., and the user can add as many entries as they have kids.
- Set up a Single Choice question: Ask how many kids the customer has, with choices from 0 to 5 (or more).
- Use Conditional Logic: You can set conditions to show or hide the Configurable List widget based on the answer to the number of kids question. The widget itself allows users to add multiple entries, so you don't need to create multiple copies of the questions manually.
This approach is the best way to handle a variable number of repeated questions in Jotform.
If you need detailed steps on adding and configuring the Configurable List widget, I can provide those as well.
Best regards and greetings from Jotform Support.
