    Buen dia.

    Favor ayudarme

    Hi genegocios2023,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, our Spanish Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users at the moment. I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in Spanish, let us know and we can have them do that. But, keep in mind that you'd have to wait until they're available again.

Now, let me help you with your question. Please know that when enabling the Input Mask, it is not possible to mask the number inside a square bracket ([]). Which is why if you use $###[#][#][#].##, the system will read it as $###.## and only three numbers can be added before the decimal sign (.). Users are also required to follow the format set up for the Input Mask so there is no option to add three required and two optional values. Can you please share more information about what format are you trying to achieve for $###[#][#][#].## input mask?

After we hear back from you, we’ll have a better idea of what’s going on and how to help.

    Thanks for your answer

My formula was working correctly and it stopped working two or three days ago.

If it is possible to configure two optional fields with the formula that already uses $###[#][#][#].##

For example. I use the formula $##[#][#][#].## in another form called "WEB Form" and it works as expected, two required fields and three optional fields before the point.

    Hola genegocios2023,

Thank you for your response Catherine.

If I want to activate the input mask, I have disabled it because I am waiting for new data in my form and it was capturing incorrect information, for example $160.00 instead of $1600.00.

Disabling it has been a temporary solution, I hope so

    Hi genegocios2023,

Thanks for getting back to us. Since you have disabled input masking on certain fields in your form, can you confirm if you still want to set an input mask for those fields? Also, as a suggestion from my colleague, you can use the Masked Input Widget that should meet your requirements for formatting your number fields with dollar signs and commas.

Keep us updated and let us know if you need help.

    Hi genegocios2023,

Thanks for getting back to us. I tested it on my end with different numbers, and it appears that everything is now working properly. The issue could be a temporary issue that has been resolved. I've gone ahead and cleared your form caches as an additional aid.

Give it a try and reach out again if you have any other questions.
