Sonnyfer Jotform SupportHi Caroline,
If you don't want to receive a Notification Email when someone submit your form, then you can simply delete it from your form. Let me show you how:
- In Form Builder, click on Settings at the top and select Emails.
- Hover over your Notification Email and click on the Trash icon.
- Select Delete and confirm your action on the prompt.
As for recovering the data of the person who lost connection while filling out your form, I'm afraid that's not possible. The information will only be sent to your form once the form-filler hits the submit button.
Let us know if you need any more help.

Mary Eden Jotform SupportHello Caroline,
Did you not want to send the Autoresponder? Please note that this is the email that your respondents receive after completing your survey form.
The subject of the Autoresponder is We have received your response. I looked at your form and found no Autoresponders, so this type of email will no longer be sent to your respondents.
Reach out again if there’s anything else we can help you with.

Aleeza_AHi Caroline,
If you'd like the email confirmation to only include the message "Your response is received", let me walk you through it:
1. Go to the Settings tab of your form in the form builder.
2. Click on Emails on the left panel.
3. Under the Autoresponder Email, select the email template you want to modify.
4. Remove the older Email Subject and replace it with your custom message, like: Your response is received. (You can update the Email Content as well based on your preference)
5. Click Save.
Here's the result of a test email:
