scannermodumexI have a widget that is a configurable list, but I need one of the fields to not accept commas. I tried using the regex pattern {regex:/^[^,]*$/} with the field "Nombre de obra : text" and the note "No se permiten comas." However, it still allows me to add commas. When I apply this condition, as soon as I enter any letter or number, the send button gets disabled. I only have this condition set. I need help to make sure the field does not accept commas without disabling the send button or allowing commas to be entered. -
Aries Jotform SupportHi scannermodumex,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. The Configurable List widget doesn’t support field-level validation, so regex rules like the one you tried won’t block commas inside a specific field. That’s why the widget still accepts commas. If you need to prevent commas, the only reliable option is to use a regular field like the Short Text field with the validation feature.
While the feature you're looking for isn't available at Jotform right now, we've gone ahead and escalated your request to our developers. Exactly when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.
Thanks for your patience and understanding, we appreciate it.
