Danilo Jotform SupportHi Subus,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Our Spanish Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users right now, so I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in Spanish, let us know and we can have them do that. But, it might take a while until they're available again.
Now, coming back to your question, It's easy to schedule a date and time when your form will automatically be disabled. Let me show you how:
1. In Form Builder, click on Settings in the orange navigation bar at the top.
2. Under Form Settings, in the Form Status section, click on Enabled.

3. Then, in the pop-up menu, select Disable on Specific Date in the Form Status Dropdown menu.
4. In the Expiration Date section, set a date and time when you want the form to be disabled.
5. Finally, enter a custom error in the Warning Message field, and then click on Save.
Here’s an example of what the form responders will see once the submission limit is reached:

Thanks for your feedback and clarification. I understand that disabling the form globally does not meet your requirements, as you need to restrict submissions based on specific shifts while keeping the form active.
To achieve this, you can use the Conditional Logic feature combined with a Time element. This method allows you to hide the "Submit" button if the current time is outside the allowed hours for the selected shift.
Here is the step-by-step solution:
1. Add a Time Element
- Add a Time element to your form.
- Go to Properties (Gear Icon) > Options.
- Set Default Time to Current.
- Set it to Read Only (so users cannot change it).
- (Optional) You can set this field to Hidden if you don't want it visible to the user.
2. Add a Warning Message
- Add a Paragraph element with a message like: "Submissions for this shift are not allowed at this time."
- Set this field to Hidden by default.
3. Set Up Show/Hide Conditions
- Go to Settings > Conditions > Show/Hide Field. You need to create logic that hides the Submit button and shows the Warning message if the time is outside the allowed range for the selected shift.
You can use this condition settings:
For the Morning Shift (MAÑANA) - Allowed: 05:00 - 12:00
IF Turno IS EQUAL TO MAÑANA
AND Time IS BEFORE 05:00
OR Time IS AFTER 12:00
DO: HIDE [Submit Button] and SHOW [Warning Message]
For the Afternoon Shift (TARDE) - Allowed: 13:00 - 20:00
IF Turno IS EQUAL TO TARDE
AND Time IS BEFORE 13:00
OR Time IS AFTER 20:00
DO: HIDE [Submit Button] and SHOW [Warning Message]
This setup ensures the form remains active, but users can only submit the specific shift during the allowed hours.
Give it a try and let us know if you need help with the conditions.
