Aplicación: Cómo mostrar la imagen de fondo sin margen blanco

antes podia poner el bloque de imagenes y bloque de escritura sin fondo para que la imagen de fondo de la aplicacion se pudiera ver, pero ahora no deja y aparece el retablo blanco, que puedo hacer?????
