    Hello,

I need to make this option happen.

There will be 4 hotels from which the passenger can choose where to stay, each one has its own rate, I would like the passenger not be able of choosing two hotels at the same time, just one at a time, is this possible?

How to calculate the total amount depending on the selected item of the user? Image 1 Screenshot 20 Screenshot 10

    Let me know please.

    Thank you

    Hi Gabriela,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Are you referring to this form? If so, unfortunately, you can't deselect a Single Choice Element. As a workaround, you can use a Multiple Choice element and use a condition to prevent choosing both selections. Let me show you how to do that:

    1. In Form Builder, click on the Add Form Element menu on the left side of the page.
    2. Under the Basic tab, scroll down to Multiple Choice, and drag and drop a Multiple Choice element to your form. How to restrict choosing two single choice elements at once Image 1 Screenshot 70
    3. Add it again for the other selection.
    4. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.
    5. Click on Conditions on the left of the page.
    6. Now, click on Add a New Condition and then click on Update/Calculate Field.
    7. Set the conditions like you see below: How to restrict choosing two single choice elements at once Image 2 Screenshot 81How to restrict choosing two single choice elements at once Image 3 Screenshot 92How to restrict choosing two single choice elements at once Image 4 Screenshot 103How to restrict choosing two single choice elements at once Image 5 Screenshot 114
    8. Click Save when done and that's it!

This is how it looks like after doing the workaround:

    Hi,

    Thank you for your reply.

Unfortunately, I couldn't arrive to the same conclusion as yours. Mine still do not work the way you show me in your video.

Can you tell me where do you get these values? I cannot see them.

    Hi SUNLITJETS,

Thanks for getting back to us. I checked your form and see that only one of the four conditions shared by my colleague has been applied to your form. Please try replicating the four conditions shared by my colleague. The value in your screenshot is a blank space which can be entered by pressing the space bar on the keyboard.

Give it a try and let us know if you need any help.

    Hi,

Thank you for your reply. I didn't repeat the four conditions since I couldn't make one work and couldn't continue.

Can you please send me the explanation with the current information in my form due it has changed since I made the first question?

    Thank you.

    Hi Gabriela,

Thanks for getting back to us. I checked your form and can replicate the issue you're having when adding a space on your conditions. It can be resolved by clicking the blank space character to make it String data type instead of number. Check out my screencast below:

    Hi,

    Thank you for your reply.

I have another question for you.
When I use the Iframe for the form to be inserted in my website, it looks okay in the desktop but when I have a look at it in a cellphone, it looks bad, is there any way it could look fine in mobile devices as well? Keep in mind that I don't have any knowlegde of CSS.
    Looking forward to you comments.
    Thank you!
