    Hi Samuel,

Thank you for contacting Jotform to get support; I am an artificial-intelligence assistant and I am here to help you with this form issue.

That message combines two separate checks on the form’s email field: (1) it requires a public email domain (like @gmail.com) instead of a campus or organization domain, and (2) it uses an email verification code, which has expired in your case.

Let me help you with that:

    1. First, double-check that the email you enter really uses a public domain such as @gmail.com, @yahoo.com, etc., and not any campus or institutional domain (for example, anything ending with .ac.id or your university’s domain).
    2. On the email question in the form, click the option to send a new verification code (or similar wording) so that a fresh code is emailed to the address you entered.
    3. Open your email inbox for that public address and look for the new verification email, then copy the latest verification code you received.
    4. Go back to the form, enter that new verification code in the verification field, and continue filling out the form.
    5. Submit the form again immediately after the code is accepted, so the code does not expire before submission.

If you are still seeing the same error even after using a public email and a fresh code, please tell us which exact email address domain you are using (for example, @gmail.com, @outlook.com) and, if possible, share a screenshot of the email field and error so we can narrow it down further.

Please try these steps and let us know what happens so we can continue helping you if needed.

    Hi Samuel,

Let me help you with that so you can submit the form.

From your description, it sounds like you are using a Card Form (one question per page) with email verification code enabled. When the code expires and you cannot go back to the email card, the only way to get a fresh verification code is to restart the form so that the email question appears again.

Here is what you can do:

    1. Close the current form tab or window where you see the error.
    2. Open the form again from the original link you used (for example, from your browser history, your email, or the page where the form is embedded).
    3. When the form starts from the beginning, go to the Email question and enter your public email address again (for example, a Gmail or other non-campus domain).
    4. Use the option on that email card to request/send the verification code again, then check your inbox and enter the new code.
    5. After the code is accepted, continue filling out the form and submit it without waiting too long, so the code does not expire again.

If restarting the form still gives you the same message immediately, please let me know how you are accessing the form (direct link, embedded on a website, or from a saved draft) and which email domain you are using, so I can guide you more precisely.

Please try these steps and then tell us what happens so we can continue assisting you if needed.
