MustafaHi Gabriel_repartition,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, our French Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users at the moment. I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in French, let us know and we can have them do that. But, keep in mind that you'd have to wait until they're available again.
Now, let me help you with your question. To clarify, it is not possible to enforce decimal input (like 23.00) using the Time form elements in Jotform, as they are designed specifically for valid time values and do not support decimal formatting.
Instead, you can achieve your goal by using the Short Text Entry field with an input mask. Here's how:
- Add a Short Text Entry field to your form.
- Select the field and open its Properties (gear icon).
- Go to the Options tab .
- Enable the "Input Mask" option .
- Set the input mask to "##.##" to require users to enter two digits, a decimal point, then two digits (eg, 23.00).
This method will enforce the decimal format you want.
Give it a try and let us know if you need any further help.

MustafaHi Gabriel_repartition,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support.
Regarding your concern about exporting the data and editing it like in Excel, please note that when you export submissions, the data format depends on how it was entered and how Excel interprets it. Using the input mask ensures consistent formatting in the form, but Excel may still interpret numbers differently based on your regional settings. You might need to adjust Excel's settings or format the cells as text or numbers with decimals after export.
If you want users to enter numeric values without using input masks, you can alternatively use the Number field with the decimal option enabled. However, this field does not allow forcing the decimal separator to be a point if the user's locale uses commas.
Give these options a try and let us know if you need further assistance.
