Podo: Support AI AgentHi Amandine,
Thanks for sharing the details about your form and email setup. From what I understand, you are trying to configure the email notification for your form, and you see that the recipient email address field is mandatory. This means the notification will always be sent to the email address you enter there.
In Jotform, the recipient email address in the notification settings is the destination where the form submissions will be sent. It is required because without it, Jotform wouldn't know where to send the notification emails.
If you want the notification to be sent to a specific email (like your own), you must enter that email address in the recipient field. If you want to send notifications to multiple addresses, you can separate them with commas.
Let me help you with that:
- Go to your form's Settings tab.
- Click on Emails.
- Select the notification email you want to edit.
- Under the Recipients tab, enter the email address(es) where you want to receive submissions in the Recipient Email field.
- Save the changes.
This setup ensures that every time someone submits your form, the notification email will be sent to the address(es) you specified.
If you want to send an email to the person filling out the form (an autoresponder), that is configured separately under Autoresponder Emails.
Give it a try and let me know if you need any other help.

Podo: Support AI AgentHi Amandine,
You want the email notification to be sent to the person who fills out the form and enters their email address. To do this, you need to set up an Autoresponder Email instead of a Notification Email.
Let me help you with that:
- In Form Builder, click on Settings in the top orange navigation bar.
- Click on Emails in the left menu.
- Hover over the Autoresponder Email and click Edit.
- Go to the Advanced tab.
- Set the Recipient Email to the email field from your form (the one where users enter their email address).
- Save your changes.
This will send the email to the person who submitted the form using the email they provided.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
