Problème d'affichage sur iPad

    Our process is the following:

    • We create a PDF form with fillable fields (health questionnaire + liability waiver).
    • The client fills in the form directly on the iPad.
    • The client signs the document.
    • We save the completed PDF.

The problem is that, although all the fields are editable, it is impossible to scroll through the PDF once a field is selected. As soon as we tap inside a text field, the document becomes "locked" on that part of the page. We cannot scroll with one finger or two fingers, making it impossible to reach the rest of the questionnaire.

We tested this on our iPad and the issue happens consistently.

This is blocking us from using Jotform in our studio because our clients cannot complete the entire form.

Could you please let us know:

    1. Is this a known issue?
    2. Is there a setting we're missing?
    3. Is there a workaround or an estimated fix?

    Thank you for your help.

    Best regards,

    Alex

    Hi Alex,

Try the following steps to resolve this issue:

    1. Scroll from the edge of the screen — swipe using the area outside the field itself (near the side margins) rather than directly over it.
    2. Try a different browser — Chrome instead of Safari, or vice versa.
    3. Make sure the Mobile Responsive option is enabled in your form settings.
    4. If the form is embedded on your website, change the scrolling attribute in the iframe code to "yes". If the form is embedded within a nested iframe structure, also set the outer iframe's scrolling attribute to "yes".
    5. Clear Safari's cache and cookies, then reload the page.

    You can try these steps.

    Hi Alex,

In addition to my reply earlier, we would like to get more information about the issue you encountered.

To troubleshoot, can you answer a few questions to let us understand better:

    1. Are you using fillable PDF version of your form, or are you using Smart PDF Forms? In either case, can you share with the form URL with us?
    2. Which OS version you are using on your iPad?
    3. If your users are using fillable PDF, which app they are using on iPad to fill out the PDF form?
    4. If you can share screenshot or screen recording with us, it would help us understand your use case. To share screen recording with us, you can use Loom.

    Let us know the details.
