Visual Report - All replies not included in PDF for big elements

    Hi DSW_Ref1,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, our German Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users at the moment. I'll try to assist you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd prefer to receive support in German, let us know and we can have them do that. But, keep in mind that you'd have to wait until they're available again.

Now, let me help you with your question. I am sorry that you are having troubles seeing all the results listed in your Visual Report. Displaying them all is easy, let me show you how:

    1. In your Visual Report, double-click on your Graph.
    2. Next, in the Chart Settings panel that will open on the right side of the screen, click on the Data tab.
    3. Finally, under Option limit, set the value 100 or Higher.

If that’s not exactly what you’re looking for, can you explain a bit more, so we can help you better?

Reach out again if you have any other questions.

    Hi Vincenzo,

Thank you very much for your reply.

I had already got as far as point 3, which you described. I set under Option limit the value to 100 or higher. But what I still don't know is how to display all entries per slide when downloading (as a pdf file).

The entries displayed on a slide are still limited. Depending on the length of the answers, only around 8 to 10 entries are displayed. I hope you understand what I mean.

    Kind regards

    Susanne

    Hi Susanne,

Thank you for clarifying. When I tested with a PDF, I did see the issue. If there are more rows than what fits on one slide, it doesn't automatically expand to the next slide. While this feature you’re looking for isn’t currently available, rest assured we’re always working to add new services and features to Jotform. I've gone ahead and escalated your request to our Developers. When or if it's implemented depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.

But for the time being, I did find a manual workaround. It needs a bit of time to set up when there are a lot of submissions and needs to be updated if there are more submissions added later, but I believe it gives you the result you're looking for in the PDF. I made a very basic form to show this where I only have one text field and 12 submissions. Here are the steps I used for the workaround:

    1. I added my text field to the report.

    2. Then I increased the Option Limit as you've done already.

    3. In the options list, I then deselected all the options by unticking Show All.

    4. Then I selected options manually in the list. (For my example I just selected six, but here I believe you can select as many as you can fit in the report element)

    5. After that's done, I added a new copy of the same field, which you can do by either dragging a new copy in from the Add Element list or by duplicating the one on your report.

    6. For the copy of the field, I simply did steps 2,3, and 4 again, but selected the other six options.

Then I ended up with all my twelve responses where they might have been cut off if they were listed in the same element.

So while it does take a bit of time to set this up if there are 69 submissions and multiple fields have to be split up into multiple report elements, it does allow for a PDF with all of the submission texts visible.

If there are any issues setting up the report like this, or if you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Thanks a lot for your detailed answer. The workaround is impressiv.

Looking forward to as many other users as possible asking the same question as me.
