hallo

Hi Pauley,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Our German Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users right now, so I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in German, let us know and we can have them do that. But, it might take a while until they're available again.
Now, coming back to your question, you can create AI Agents and train them using a knowledge base that can consist of text, URLs, PDFs, or question-and-answer pairs. The number of characters used in the knowledge base is counted toward your billing. This means that if your database contains, for example, 600,000 characters and the AI Agent accesses it, those characters are counted as used.
The Bronze Plan includes a knowledge base capacity of up to 2 million characters. So, if you're using a database with 600,000 characters, it will be deducted from your total limit of 2 million characters. The billing is therefore based on the actual number of characters used, not as a separate quota. In other words, you do not get an additional 2 million characters — you have a total of 2 million characters to use across your knowledge base and AI Agents.
In summary:
- The number of characters in your knowledge base counts toward your usage.
- The Bronze plan offers up to 2 million characters for the knowledge base.
- Using 600,000 characters in one database will be subtracted from this limit.
Reach out again if you have any other questions.

...okay - so in the bronze tariff an AI app can have a maximum of 2 mill characters in the database. and i have thousands of requests and responses. if i delete the app with the 600tsd characters, will it be less again?

Hi Pauley,
When you delete the app and its associated knowledge base, the characters used by that knowledge base will be freed up and no longer counted against your total 2 million character limit. This means you will regain that capacity to use for other AI apps or knowledge bases.
So yes, deleting the app with the 600,000 characters will reduce your used character count and give you more space within your Bronze plan's 2 million character limit.
Let us know if you have any other questions.
