Celik_uHello, I have an issue when I create my pre-fill of end of contract form, it goes around in circles and I tried on a different computer and on different explorers, I can’t reach the end, I did from the form and from the table, even by masking certain fields, it doesn’t succeed. Could you help me?

Podo: Support SpecialistHi Celik,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.
Let me help you with that:
It sounds like you are experiencing an issue where your pre-fill of the end of contract form loops endlessly and does not complete, even after trying on different computers and browsers, and masking certain fields.
One common approach to pre-filling forms dynamically is using integrations like Salesforce Dynamic Prefill. Here’s how you can set it up properly to avoid looping issues:
1. In Form Builder, click on Publish in the orange navigation bar at the top.
2. In the menu on the left, click on Prefill, then select Salesforce Dynamic Prefill.
3. In the Authentication section, log in to your Salesforce account or select it from the dropdown if already added.
4. In the Lookup Object section, select the object where you want the prefill data to come from.
5. In the Lookup Filters section, select the field to match with your form field.
6. In the Map Fields section, map the Salesforce fields to your form fields and click Save.
7. Confirm by clicking Yes, Save.
After setup, use the Copy Link button in the Share With Link section to send the prefilled form link to users.

This method ensures that when users fill the form, matched fields will prefill automatically without looping.

HasanHi Celik,
Our French Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users right now, so I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in French, let us know and we can have them do that. But, it might take a while until they're available again.
Now, coming back to your question, thanks for the clarification. I understand better what you are trying to achieve. The looping issue you are experiencing can sometimes happen if there are too many mapped fields, or if a specific field type is causing a conflict with the prefill feature.
To help us investigate this closely and run some tests, we need a bit more information:
- Share the exact URLs of both forms involved (your Sales Contract form and the End of Contract form).
- Tell us the exact method you are using to connect them (Form Prefill, Tables Prefill, or an Action Button in Jotform Tables).
Once we hear back from you with these details, we can test this on our end and work on a solution.

Jerlan Jotform SupportHi Celik,
I cloned and tested the form multiple times, and I'm getting a prompt message as shown in the screenshot below:
Before we escalate this to the developers' team, can you confirm if you're getting the same message after the looping issue? When we hear back from you, we’ll be ready to move forward.

LaurenHi Celik,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Here are simpler options available and how you can streamline this:
- Use Form Prefill (one-time setup, then reuse from Publish tab).
Once you’ve set up Form Prefill between Form A (source) and Form B (target), you don’t need to go through Tables each time:
- Open Form B in Form Builder, go to the Publish tab, then click Prefill on the left.
- Choose Form Prefill, select Form A as the source, and map the fields once.
- After that, whenever you need a new prefilled link, just return to Publish → Prefill → Form Prefill → Add a New Prefill, pick the submission from the dropdown list, and Jotform will generate the prefilled URL for that specific entry.
- Copy or send that URL to your client, or open it yourself to generate the contract.
Guide: What Is Jotform Prefill and How Does It Work?https://www.jotform.com/help/1805-what-is-jotform-prefill-and-how-does-it-work
- Use Tables Prefill if you need data from a specific tab
If your source data lives in a specific tab in Jotform Tables (e.g., a filtered or combined tab), use Tables Prefill instead of Form Prefill:
- In Form B → Publish → Prefill, choose Tables Prefill.
- Select the table (and tab) from Form A, map the fields, and save.
- Then, like above, you can click Add a New Prefill from this same screen to generate prefilled URLs without going back to edit the form or opening Tables first.
Guide: How to Prepopulate Form Fields With Data From Other Tables with Table Prefill https://www.jotform.com/help/1808-how-to-prefill-form-fields-with-data-from-other-tables-with-table-prefill
- Editing existing submissions (if you just need to correct data)
If your main need is to modify existing submissions rather than create new contracts, you can edit directly:
- Go to My Workspace, click Filter → Clear All → Forms, then open the form’s Inbox.
- Select the submission, click the three dots in the top-right, then click Edit.
- Update the data and click Submit to save the changes.
Give these a try and let us know how it goes!
