Dropdown Placeholder: Inconsistent Language Display Between Creation Screen and Form

    Also, the placeholder for the dropdown item is written as "Please select" in Japanese on the creation screen, but it's written as "Please Select" in English on the actual form screen. I want to make this consistent with Japanese as well.

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I’ve tested both the original and cloned forms and got the same result. The Please select text is still showing. I’ve escalated this to our developers so they can review whether changing its language is currently unsupported or if this is unexpected behavior.

    We’ll get back to you as soon as we hear any updates from them.

    お送りしたスクリーンショットは確認していますか?フォーム作成画面だと「選択してください」と日本語表示されていますが、フォーム画面だと英語表示です。似たような別フォームでは、フォーム画面でも日本語表示になっています。

    Hi 外崎裕人,

    While we do offer Support in many foreign languages, and we're working hard to add more every day, we don't currently have Japanese Support agents who can help you. So I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using.

    There's no screenshot attached to your message to us. Even in the original support ticket that you opened. I cloned your form and confirmed the Form Builder view shows the translated text. But when I previewed the form, the Please select text shows in the Dropdown element.

    This is the same behavior that I run into when I cloned your form and tested it. So, I've escalated this to our developers to see if this is unexpected behavior, an unavailable feature, or if there's another way to do this.
