    Hi Celik_u,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Prefilling your form using another form is easy. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Publish.
    2. Now, click on Prefill in the menu on the left side of the page, and then select Form Prefill.
    3. Click on the Downward Arrow icon and select the form that you want to prefill from, and then match the fields.
    4. Finally, click on Save Settings on the bottom-right side of the Form Prefill section.

Image-1 Now that you’ve set up the prefill settings, you'll need to add a new prefill. Let’s do it:

    1. Click on Add a New Prefill and select a row or the rows you want to be prefilled.
    2. Then, click on the Create button in the right corner of the page.

Image-2 That's it. Now, a prefill link's been created, and you can share that with people. When they open the link, the matched fields will be filled automatically. Check out the screencast below to see how it works:

Image-3 If you want your prefilled fields to be read-only and not editable, you can change the options for those:

    1. In the Form Prefill settings, click on Can Edit next to the prefill link.
    2. In the dropdown menu that opens, select Read only, and that's it.

    Hi Celik_u,

You can also automatically pass form data to another form right after the first form is submitted. We just need to find the unique names of the elements and include them in the landing page URL, or you can use the Prepopulate App to generate the URL of the form. Let me show you how to set it up:

    1. Go to Prepopulate App and click on Populate Fields. Click on Allow and choose your Form B.
    2. Scroll down to the field and paste the unique name from Form A. After filling it out, scroll up and click Generate URL.
    3. After generating, you can now copy that URL and use.

    4. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.
    5. Click on Thank you in the menu on the left side of the page.
    6. Select Redirect to an external link after submission.
    7. Finally, enter your landing page’s URL in the Enter URL field.

That way, it will automatically prefill Form B from Form A.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Oui mais cette option est trop longue? Peut-on modifier une soumission déjà encodé pour la réutiliser ? Car quand j’essaie de la modifier elle m’es refusé

    Hi Celik_u,

Can you send either a screenshot or a quick recording of what you're trying to do? Loom works well for recording, or you can upload to Google Drive or Dropbox and send us the link. Or you can use this guide for taking a screenshot.

Once we hear back from you, we can get moving on a solution.
