    Bonjour,

J'ai un formulaire avec des champs qui sont obligatoires mais j'ai quand même reçu une soumission vierge :

    Comment est-ce possible ?

    Hello AVPI,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, our French Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users at the moment. I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in French, let us know and we can have them do that. But, keep in mind that you'd have to wait until they're available again.

Now, let me help you with your issue. I understand that there were required fields in your form that is being skipped, but I’ll need a bit of time to look into this. I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

We really appreciate your patience and understanding.

    Bonjour,

Je comprends bien l'anglais pas de problème. J'ai plus de mal à l'écrire par contre.

Vous avez parfaitement compris le problème. J'attends donc votre retour.

    Merci

    Hello AVPI,

Thanks for patiently waiting. I cloned your form and tested it to see if I could replicate the issue, but everything was working as intended. I only get 2 blank columns for the 'Type conditionneur' and 'AOC/DGC'. This is due to the conditions applied to these fields, but the rest are all filled out. Check out the screencast below to see my results:

I also have noticed that the blank column in your Jotform Tables screenshot is not set to required. This is the reason why your respondents can skipped filling in this field.

Now, if you're still missing fields or data sets that were required but didn't show up in the tables, then your users might have been able to bypass the fields due to their browser's javascript being disabled/turned off.

The required fields are checked using javascript, and as such, if they are disabled, the user will be able to submit the form even if a required field is not filled. In order to prevent the user from submitting the form, if their javascript is disabled, you can add the NoScript widget to your form. When this widget is added to the form, it will conditionally hide the entire form and display the message you defined when JavaScript is disabled in their browser. Please check this guide about How to Add a Widget to Your Form.

Give it a try and reach out again if you have any other questions.

    Bonjour,

J'ai mis en place le widget NoScript. Si j'ai encore des problèmes je reviendrai vers vous.

    Bonne journée
