bonjour, est-ce possible de restreindre l'adresse email au nom de domaine ? c'est à dire que sur un formulaire précis - > uniquement les participants avec @wmhproject.fr peuvent s'inscrire ?

    merci d'avance

    Hi Jelena,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I’m sorry you're having difficulties with this. Unfortunately, our French Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users at the moment. I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in French, let us know, and we can have them do that. But keep in mind that you'd have to wait until they're available again.

Now, let me help you with your question. I understand your need to restrict email domains in the email field. Although there isn't a direct feature for this, I have a workaround suggestion. We can use Show/Hide Field conditional logic to hide the submit button and display an error message if the entered email domain doesn't match @wmhproject.fr. This way, users will be prompted to use the correct email address. If you're comfortable with this solution, we can proceed with the implementation. Let me walk you through it:

    1. To begin, you can disable the use of Free Addresses in the email field settings to prevent free email addresses (such as Gmail or Hotmail) from being accepted.

    2. Now, add a hidden Paragraph element to your form to show an error if form fillers do not use the specified email address domain.

    3. Lastly, we'll create a Show/Hide field conditional logic to display an error message if the form filler did not enter the specified email domain. You can also hide multiple fields, including the Submit button, so they can't submit the form if the domain does not match. Here’s how to do it:

    1. At the top of the Form Builder, select Settings.
    2. On the left, select Conditions.
    3. Create a new Show/Hide Field condition.

Here are the results of using the method described above:

Alternatively, the form's access settings could be changed to allow Company Access. It means that only invited users whose email addresses are associated with the domain specified in the form's settings can access it. One way to ensure that only authorized individuals are able to complete your form is to restrict access to the designated email domain. Individuals lacking an email address associated with the domain you specify will be unable to access or complete the form. However, users would be required to create a Jotform account or sign in with the email address domain that you have specified.

Let us know if there’s anything else we can help you with.
