Apple releases are extravagant affairs. People line up outside stores for days to be among the first to have a chance to purchase new products. Anything Apple does is destined for headline news and to be received with much fanfare. The Apple Watch release was no different. Because many of our users have Apple Watches, we wanted to make sure that we can offer them JotForm on their wrist!
JotForm is excited to join the latest Apple release, being among the first to release an Apple Watch app. Now you can not only receive your latest form submissions on your iPhone, but also on your Apple Watch.Comments (18) Read the rest of this entry »

Kim Mueller is a teacher, and uses JotForm to help her students in a number of awesome ways. We don’t usually do this, but we loved Kim’s testimonial so much that we just had to share it. Thank you Kim!
Here’s what she sent:
My history with JotForm: I discovered JotForm a few years ago, while searching for an easier way to collect registrations for the sports camps my husband and I help churches present in their communitiesaround the country during our summers off (we're both teachers). We transitioned from paper registrations and data entry (yuck!), to online registration and payment by check, to online registration AND payment.
(JotForm is pleased to share this exciting offer from our friends at TemplateMonster)
Back in 2004, websites looked cluttered. Pale color schemes, starburst effect, all-flash sites, patterns and textures were in the highest demand among web developers. This has changed a lot over the years. Clean and minimalist layouts with the main focus on detail has gained popularity among web designers. Today, heavy design elements have been replaced with neat icons that add an elegant, stylish look to web pages

Update- we changed the import tool to a downloadable installer. It doesn't currently support incremental updates. We'll update this post when it does. Thank you!
As most JotForm users know by now, earlier this year Adobe FormsCentral announced its pending shutdown. JotForm quickly released a single-step import wizard that transfers all their forms and form responses to our system. Migrated FormsCentral users have been raving about it and the trouble it saved them.

We’d like to thank our wonderful users for submitting fantastic testimonials for a piece in Entrepreneur Magazine. You can now read about JotForm in the printed June issue, and online!
The article, “Forms that function”, discusses how a JotForm user found a great solution for doing away with time-intensive paperwork.
In just five weeks Adobe FormsCentral will no longer work. June 22 marks the last day its users can enjoy their forms, and they have until July 28 to download their form responses. Using our Adobe FormsCentral Import Wizard, we’ve welcomed thousands of users, over 70,000 forms, and over a million form responses. Recently converted FormsCentral users have revelled in how easy the process has been for them. By just entering their FormsCentral login credentials all their forms and data are ready to go in our system.

If you’re new to JotForm - or maybe you recently migrated from Adobe FormsCentral - you may not be familiar with how easy it is to turn your ordinary looking form into a gorgeous piece of online art. JotForm’s incredibly advanced Form Designer allows your inner designer to shine; it’s the easiest tool around for creating customized, beautiful form themes that don’t require any knowledge of complicated CSS.
With that being said, here are a few pointers to get you started.
Most users enjoy the simplicity of JotForm. Build a form, post it on your website, and receive email notifications every time someone responds. This keeps a great many JotForm customers happy. Sometimes you want to do more with the information you collect, though. Perhaps you want to build a web page based on your form responses. For this JotForm gives you a full API to access your data whenever you want.
The Washington Post recently found JotForm to be the right tool for a special project. They set up a jotform to collect information on cooking classes. The goal was to create a dynamically constructed web page that would connect to JotForm and post the latest updates on the class.

April 28, 2015Form creators should try to seek a delicate balance between collecting all of the needed information and making sure that the form visitor completes the form all the way through. To achieve the highest conversion rate possible, the form must be concise. Especially for more time-consuming and intensive forms, every form field that lacks an excellent user experience risks abandonment. Luckily, JotForm offers 382 widgets that can make your form better. Here are some highlighted widgets that can save you time.

We double-dog dare you to find an industry that relies on online forms more than higher education. OK, maybe that’s not necessary. But facts are facts: universities today run on online forms; now more than ever before.
Tens of thousands of course surveys, professor assessments, prospective student information requests, admission and scholarship applications, brochure downloads, enrollment forms, IT requests and donation forms are used every single day. Heck, even voting for the homecoming king and queen is a task made easier using online forms.
So with that we thought we’d help out with some suggestions to help make your university’s online forms spectacular.

JotForm users in Europe will be pleased to hear that we are now US-EU Safe Harbor certified. These important standards of the EU regulate the collection, use, and retention of personal information. We’ve always kept your data safe. Now we have the formalized credentials.
April 06, 2015Nonprofits have an international presence of fighting to make the world a better place. Some are helping preserve clean air, water, and resources for generations to come. Others are helping to spread literacy, immunization, and occupational opportunities for the underprivileged. There are also local nonprofits that support your neighborhood parks and way of life. They could all use some extra support. JotForm helps nonprofits with all of their form needs.

Gary Ferrar knows a thing or two about showmanship. Located in the entertainment capital that is New York City, he brings smiles and bewilderment to kids, adults, multi-billion dollar corporations, and backyard barbecues alike with his awe-inspiring magic act.
But the biggest rabbit he pulls out of his hat isn’t, well, any rabbit he pulls out of his hat. It’s the fact that he successfully books over 300 events a year (and manages to garner a five-star rating on Yelp! while doing it). Quite the impressive feat.
Gary happens to use JotForm in a big way to keep his business going. So we decided to ask him a few questions about how his magical business runs, and where JotForm fits into his quest to be the best.Comments (2) Read the rest of this entry »
