How to Change the Styles of the Answers in the Original PDF Document

JotForms' Smart PDF Forms now allows you to customize the alignment, size, font type, and colors of the text fields in the Original PDF document. You can also change the styling of the Multiple and Single Choices fields.

To start customizing, you have to open the PDF Editor. Here are the steps:

1) In the Form Builder, toggle the Wizard Selector.

2) Click the PDF Editor.

3) In the PDF Editor, the Original PDF is automatically displayed. Click the Designer (Paint Roller Icon) at the top right side of the PDF editor:

In the Original PDF Settings, you have three blocks:

a. Text Style with Font Family, Font Size, Format, Color, and Alignment options.

b. Multiple Choice Style with Color and Checkbox design options (Checked, Stroke, Filled).

c. Single Choice Style with Color and Radio Button design options (Checked, Stroke, Filled).

The default styling of the Original PDF, especially for the texts is dark and left align.

The styling is pretty much straightforward. Once you are done with the changes, you will have to click the Apply Changes button at the bottom of the style options. Here's an example of the above demo document with the texts being centered and colored green.

You'll also notice the changes with the Multiple Choice style from Stroke to Filled. It is the same for the Single Choice element.
