How to Strip Payment Labels and Separate Payment Info on Email Alerts

Last Update: July 19, 2016

You can now strip the payment labels in email notification by adding payment suffix in the payment field tag. This way you can freely separate each payment info without its labels. This is useful if you're going to create a custom email message with the tags.

Payment suffix available are:

If you're using Stripe payment tool, you can get the customer ID separately using customerid field tag.

If your payment field tag is {myProducts}, simply insert the suffix separated by a colon ":". So if you're going to display only the product total, it becomes {myProducts:total}. Likewise, if you want to display only the Paypal transaction ID the tag will be {myProducts:transactionid}.

Field tags can be found at your form notification, you can simply get it under  your "Form Fields" drop down list shown in the text editor. Please see screenshot below:

Here's an example result with and without payment information labels.

You can also construct a custom letter with the tags, example:

Can this be done in the 'Purchase Order' payments section too. There are no Name and address etc in this just {myProducts1}.

How do I get the field tags within this.

Kind regards,

It'd be nice if this feature were available on other multi-item objects as well, like Address and Full Name.

I'm trying to use these on a PayPal donation field. The information here is incorrect.

amount = price
firstname = ? (I've tried firstname, cc_firstname, and first)
lastname = ? (same as above)
addr = addr_line1, and addr_line2 (addr did not work)
zip = postal (zip did not work)

Any help?

The total field lists the total as shown in this example: 36.3 instead of 36.30. How do I get it to show the "0"?

I have this working on my form; however, is there a way to get a separator between products. When using the the standard {myproducts} there is a bullet point in front of each product. When you stripe it, it removes the bullet points. I thought I could fix it by using *{myproducts:product} but that will only put a bullet point in front of the first item.
