  • What is GoCardless payment?

    Gocardless is an online tool that collects Direct Debits on behalf of other businesses. It was founded in January 2011. The company was funded by the Y combinator accelerator in the summer of 2011. It specialises on Online Direct Debit in the United Kingdom.

  • Is GoCardless available in my country?

    You can collect subscription payments through GoCardless if your business is based in any of the following countries: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland.

  • Is there a fee for using GoCardless integration?

    We do don’t apply any additional transaction fees. You would only pay the standard GoCardless processing rate which is 1% per transaction Min €0.20, capped at €2. For more information, you may check GoCardless transaction fees in the referred page.

  • Which currencies does GoCardless support?

    GoCardless currently support Pound Sterling, Euro, Swedish Krona, Australian Dollar, Danish Krone.

  • Is GoCardless Payment Safe?

    Security is of utmost importance at GoCardless just like in Jotform. They take steps to ensure customer data remains safe at all times:

    1. Their access to the Direct Debit system is provided by some of Europe's major banks, who have approved our systems
    2. All customer data is treated in accordance with European data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
    3. All client-server communication is 256-bit SSL encrypted
    4. They are ISO27001-certified and regularly perform internal and external security audits on all our systems and processes.
    5. They will never share any data we collect from you with third parties for their own unrelated purposes, except as specifically needed to process your payments.

    They are authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority to provide payment services as an Authorised Payment Institution. They serve more businesses than any other Direct Debit provider.

    All money collected is held in a secure client monies account with either the Royal Bank of Scotland, Barclays Bank or SEB before being paid out to the merchant you're paying.

  • What type of payments can I collect?

    With the current integration, you may collect subscription payments.

  • When do I receive my payment?

    GoCardless will automatically pay out funds to your specified bank account 3 working days after they’re collected from your customer.

  • How do I know if I have been paid?
