It’s simple to highlight text in your form with Jotform’s Text Highlight widget. You choose the words or phrases you want to emphasize and pick a highlight color that matches your design. This helps important information stand out without any technical setup.
Here are a few ways to use it:
- Highlight specific instructions or reminders in your form.
- Emphasize important terms, warnings, or labels.
- Customize highlight colors to match your branding.
- Make critical text easier for users to notice and read.
Whether you’re creating a new form or updating an existing one, you can add and set up the Text Highlight widget in a few easy steps. Here’s how to do it:
- In Form Builder, click on Add Element on the left side of the page.
- Now, in the Form Elements menu, under the Widgets tab, search for Text Highlight and click to add it to your form. Or, just drag and then drop it to where you want it to be on your form.
- Next, in the Widget Settings window that opens on the right side of the page, under the General tab, set up these things:
- Text — Enter the text you want to display.
- Word to be Highlighted — Specify the word you want to highlight.
- Highlight Color — Enter the color to use for highlighting the word. You can type a full color name like “red” or a hex code like #FF0000.
- Now, click on Update, and you’re done.
That’s it! You’ve successfully added and set up the Text Highlight widget on your form.
