  • How does PayFast work?

    PayFast provides a seamless checkout experience by integrating with Jotform. To use Jotform’s PayFast integration, create a custom payment form, connect it to your PayFast account, and publish it on your website. Customers will be redirected to PayFast to complete their transactions.

  • Is PayFast secure?

    Yes! Like Jotform, PayFast is PCI DSS Level 1 compliant and ensures that sensitive financial information like credit and debit card details are protected from third parties during online transactions.

  • Is PayFast international?

    Payfast only supports South African rand (ZAR). However, you can receive international payments via Visa and Mastercard credit cards issued in any country. The amount will be in ZAR and paid to your PayFast account by the credit card provider.

  • What payment methods does PayFast offer?

    PayFast supports eight payment methods: Visa and Mastercard credit cards, Maestro and Visa Electron debit cards, Masterpass, Mobicred, MoreTyme, SnapScan, SCode, and Instant EFT by PayFast.

    PayFast doesn’t charge any setup, monthly, or hidden fees, so you’ll only have to pay per transaction. The standard credit card transaction fee for PayFast is 3.5% plus R 2.00.   • How can I integrate PayFast with my online form?
