About
Founded to honor Clemson University’s 2003 NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Championship team, Tiger Golf Gathering is a biannual event that reunites Clemson golfers, alumni, and supporters. What began as a reunion evolved into a two-day celebration featuring tournaments and charity auctions, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars annually to support the Clemson golf program and statewide golf organizations.
Challenge
As Tiger Golf Gathering grew from a simple reunion into a multi-day celebration, managing logistics became increasingly complex. The committee needed a way to manage registrations, collect participant information, organize teams, and handle fees, but their process relied on printed PDFs that participants manually filled out and faxed back. The system was time-consuming and inefficient, and with no technical background and no budget to hire coding support, the committee needed a simple, reliable solution.
Solution
After discovering Jotform through a Google search, the committee began using the platform to build and manage their forms online. Jotform enabled them to create digital registration forms without coding, collect and organize participant information, and handle event-related fees in a more streamlined way, replacing manual paperwork with online submissions and simplifying event administration.
Results
Since adopting Jotform in 2008, Tiger Golf Gathering has processed thousands of submissions without reported form or data problems. The event continues to run biannually, raising an average of $250,000–$275,000 per year to support the Clemson golf program and statewide golf organizations, with Jotform providing the reliability and peace of mind the committee has depended on for nearly two decades.
