How to Create an Organizational Form Template

Organizational templates make it easy for others in your organization to reuse a form you’ve created. This helps maintain consistency across teams and ensures everyone starts from a standard structure. You can create an organizational form template directly from the Form Builder or from the Templates page. In this guide, we’ll start by going over how to create a template from the Form Builder. 

Creating an Organizational Template From the Form Builder

1. In the Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top, click on Publish.
2. Next, click on Share as Template.

3. On the next page, update your template name if it’s different from the form name. 
4. Then, select the template language, enter a description, and select the template category.
5. Select Organization from the Share As drop-down so others on your server can use the template.
6. Click on Share.

Creating an AI-Generated Organizational Form Template

AI template creation allows you to generate a new form using AI prompts and then publish it as an organizational template. An organization admin needs to enable this feature first.

1. In My Workspace, click on Templates in the upper right-hand corner of the page.

2. Click Organizational Templates on the left.
3. Then, select Create.

4. On the next page, provide your prompt and click on Create.

5. Enter the template information such as title, language, category, description and whether it’s an organization-wide or private template.

6. If you want to take a look at the form before sharing the template, you can click on Open form in new tab on the bottom left.
7. If you want to make some changes to the form, click on Edit Form to open the Form Builder.

8. Finally, publish the template by clicking on Share as Template on the bottom right.
