Just-In-Time (JIT) Access is a security mechanism that limits high-risk permissions—such as admin or privileged roles—so they are not permanently assigned to users. Instead, a user receives those permissions only for a short, approved time window, and they automatically expire once the task is done.
This reduces exposure from:
- Persistent administrator access (one of the biggest attack surfaces)
- Accidental misuse
- Stolen or compromised accounts
How to Get Access
- First, in the Admin Console, click on Security in the sidebar on the left side of the screen.
- Next, under Single Sign-On (SSO), click on the Request JIT button.
- Next, fill in the request form.
- Then, click on the Send Request button.
