Challenge
The Federation’s Mitzvah Food Program, which provides food pantry services, needed a more effective, scalable way to sign up new clients for food assistance services. Cuts to federal food assistance programs also spiked demand for services, increasing the need for more efficient intake.
Solution
Previously, food pantry clients had to fill out paper intake forms in person. Social workers then had to manually input that information into Salesforce. Jotform’s integration with Salesforce made it easy to replace paper-based intake processes with digital Jotform workflows that automatically feed data into Salesforce records.
Results
On average, the organization saves 52 hours over the course of a month on food pantry services alone — the equivalent of almost two full work weeks — that would otherwise go to data entry.
