Challenge

Lipscomb University faced significant operational hurdles due to fragmented, paper-based processes and manual handoffs. Critical administrative tasks, like hiring approximately 300 adjuncts each year, relied on physical paperwork and random emails, leading to misplaced documents, poor visibility, and error-prone data entry.

Solution

The university transitioned to Jotform Enterprise to modernize and automate administration across the campus. By leveraging Jotform Workflows, administrators built end-to-end digital sequences that automatically route forms to chairs and deans for approval. Lipscomb took advantage of features like a secure server, the Admin Console, role-based access, and a native integration with Google Workspace to centralize its data management.

Results

Lipscomb University successfully migrated nearly all administrative functions to Jotform, creating 117 automated workflows and 249 digital forms. Staff reduced the administrative workload for adjunct hiring by 80%. Over 750 freshmen have engaged with AI-driven learning tools, and staff now have real-time visibility into every step of the approval process. By eliminating manual data entry and paperwork, the university has freed up significant time, allowing educators to focus on student success rather than busywork.
