About

Len Tau, DMD, spent 23 years as a practicing dentist before becoming a leading voice in dental practice marketing. Since retiring from clinical practice in 2022, he has built a platform for dental professionals that includes the Raving Patients podcast, an active Facebook community, and two published books.

Challenge

Creating a high-quality podcast involves managing a lot of moving pieces — guest scheduling, pre-interview research, show prep, and post-production. Tau needed a way to collect guest bios, episode topics, talking points, contact information, and audio equipment specs in one place before every episode, but gathering this information was time-consuming and inconsistent.

Solution

Tau built a guest intake workflow around Jotform: guests book their episode through Acuity Scheduling, then receive a follow-up email directing them to a Jotform intake form (with a reminder email for anyone who hasn't completed it). The form captures everything needed to run a great interview — from contact details and a full guest bio to suggested episode titles, talking points, audio setup, and even a mailing address for a post-recording thank-you gift.

Results

After more than seven years using Jotform, Tau says it's become a non-negotiable part of how

Raving Patients

operates, saving him hours per episode that now go toward improving content quality and growing his audience. Submissions feed directly into a custom GPT he built, which uses the structured form data to generate sharper episode titles and more compelling interview questions.

It's made my collection process so much easier.

I have a link, I send them a link, and they fill it out. It's made my collection process so much easier than it was before.
