How to integrate Chargify with your form?

Integrate your forms with Chargify and allow your customers to pay with credit cards. Chargify provides a lot of advantages in the recurring billings such as Trial Periods, Setup Fees, Billing Expirations, Calendar Billing etc.

Set up free or paid trial periods based on any duration of days or months. Setup fees can be charged on signup or after a trial period expires. Bill every period until cancelled or automatically stop after so many days or months. Choose what products/plans are subject to taxes. Automatically calculate and bill based on location. How to integrate your forms with Chargify?

Log into your JotForm account and open Form Builder. After that, please follow the instruction below about how to integrate your forms with Chargify.

1- Click “Build”.

2- Click “Add Form Element”.

3- Click “Payments” tab.

4- Select “Chargify” in the Payments list. You can drag&drop it into the form, too.

5- Integration wizard will be opened automatically as you see in the video above. On the integration wizard, fill the textboxes with your Chargify credentials.

     Host Name - Your Chargify subdomain e.g. https://jotformdemo.chargify.com

     API Key - Your Chargify API Key. Here's how to get it on your Chargify dashboard.

     Shared Key - Your Chargify Shared Key. Edit your current Chargify site to get this.

6- After that, Chargify account fetches with your form. Form pulls the product families in your Chargify account. You will be able to select product families and add them to the form. Please have a look at the following video:

How to test Chargify Integration?

Test Mode of Chargify is different then other gateways.  You need to create a test site in Chargify dashboard and use the host name of this test site in the credentials. Therefore, there is no Sandbox Mode option in the Additional Gateway Settings. 

Test Credit Card Numbers

To simulate a successful transaction, enter the card number as 1, or any number ending in 1, i.e. 4111 1111 1111 1111

To simulate a declined transaction, enter the card number as 2, or any number ending in 2, i.e. 4242 4242 4242 4242

To simulate a payment gateway error, enter the card number as 3, or any number ending in 3, i.e. 4012 0000 3333 0323
