Interview with Jotform CEO on upcoming book, Automate Your Busywork

Jotform has come a long way since our founder and CEO, Aytekin Tank, established the company in 2006. From our start as a basic form building service with only a few employees, we’ve grown to become a powerful automation tool that recently surpassed 20 million users — all while remaining fully bootstrapped.

One of the secrets to Jotform’s growth is something Aytekin tapped into during the early stages of building the company: applying the same principles of automation that inspire our product design to our own work, which enables us to prioritize meaningful tasks.

In fact, Aytekin has been such a proponent of an automation-first mindset that he’s written a book about it, gleaned from his own experiences. Automate Your Busywork: Do Less, Achieve More, and Save Your Brain for the Big Stuff guides readers through the process of leveraging automation to offload repetitive tasks, freeing up time so they can focus on what truly matters in business and life.

Aytekin appeared in Jotform’s podcast, Momentum, to talk about his upcoming book, what he hopes readers will take away from it, and his automation philosophy.
