The North-West University is a public research institution with three campuses near Johannesburg, South Africa. With a student population of 55,000, the NWU is one of the country’s largest universities.

The North-West University accepts 1,500 applications each year from student housing providers. Each application has 75 data points, and the data was transferred by hand to a shared spreadsheet. This process took too much time and resulted in inaccuracies.
