I'm guessing here but, perhaps it would be EASIER to create 2 sets of entry fields in the areas that have the potential to be auto-populated with data from fields above.
1. You create your first set of fields user fills initially
2. You create 2 sets of fields - one empty (if the user wants to input something else)
and one pre-filled. The prefilled one is marked HIDEnn and the empty one is showing to the user.
3. IF the user wants to use pre-filled set - then you create CONDITION to SHOW prefilled set and HIDE the empty set.
4. Obviously you need to use the simple way of prefilling fields in the Calculated Fields in your form's logic settings.

As already mentioned in the guide, you may consider using conditions to copy the field values to another field. In order to show/hide the fields, you may also setup conditions on the form.
