When I creat a Unique ID field onto form, it does not link to original PDF form.

I have converted the jotform from the pdf fillable form, however, when I creat a unique ID onto the jotform, it will not link to the original PDF form. is there a wasy to do it?

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you may have encountered.

Assuming that you're referring to  this form, kindly note that many fields/widgets still can not be linked to original PDF form such as Unique ID field.

However, I've successfully escalated this as a feature request to our developers so you can link the said field to your original PDF form. Also, please note that we can not provide you with when or if this will be implemented. If there is any update, we will inform you via this support ticket.

Unfortunately we have not received any update from our backend team. Though we cannot provide an ETA on this feature request, but we will get back to you as soon as we have any update from them.

Please note that our backend team has implemented the option to add and map "Unique ID" widget in original PDF. You can add "Unique ID" widget in form which will automatically add a new field in the original PDF as well which you can move to the desired location. Please check the screenshot below:

I would suggest you to please try adding "Unique ID" widget in form and get back to us if you have any trouble.
