    Hi James,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. The Public form setting means that anyone with the link to the form can view it and fill it out. A workaround to restrict the general public to access a Public form is to password-protect your form. In this way, only the people who know the password you set will view and fill out the form. This setting can coexist with the Public form access setting, meaning a Jotform account will not be required if the password is known. Setting it up is easy. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.
    2. Click on Form Settings in the menu on the left side of the page.
    3. Scroll down to Password Protection, and put a check in the box next to it.
    4. Now, enter the password that you want to use.

Now, anyone who wants to access your form will have to enter the password you gave them:

As for the Ads, I've checked your form and can't see any advertisements. Is your form embedded on a website? Are you referring to the Jotform branding? Can you send some screenshots of the advertisement and your website link?

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.
