Tried to prevent submitted ID number from being transformed to scientific format in excel while downloaded

Dear team,

How can I download the submitted ID in my form without being transformed into scientific format in excel when it's downloaded?

I need the numer ID to be fully displayed as is, and not being like E+15 or something.

I saw a discussion somewhere for the same problem, but I don't think it was solved.

Please kindly help.

I'm writing related to the issue about data format. The number field's data format is automatically changed because of the way of how Excel reacts when a long number is received. So, it's an expected behavior to change the data format to scientific in the Excel's side. We recommend you to collect that data using a Short Text field, instead of the Number field. This will solve the data format issue in the Excel file.

You can also make the necessary arrangements under the Options tab, in the element's Settings.

Thank you for your prompt answer. But since the data is now collected and there's no way that I can ask my client to re-submit their data, don't you think there's another workaround to solve this problem?

Thank you for getting back to us. As a workaround for the existing submissions, you can add an apostrophe (') at the beginning of the numbers in the downloaded Excel report, as shown in the screenshot below:

This will reformat the numbers without the scientific notation. Give it a try, and reach out again if you have any other questions.
