tracking other conversion events such as Complete Registration

    Hello -- it seems like a similar question has been asked but I don't see a resolution at any of the links below. I also have a multi step form and have added the FB pixel widget to the bottom of my form on the final page. I am seeing Pageviews tracked correctly, but not my selected conversion event. I am directing to a thank you page on submit. Do I need to add the pixel to the thank you page? I am using a Jotform thank you page, not an external link.

    I found that when I use the lead conversion event it does work, but I am having trouble with other conversion events such as “Complete Registration.”

    Hi Etereo,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. When I cloned and checked your forms, Lead Gen - Creative Request Form - Part 1 and 2, I noticed that you haven't enabled tracking for the 'Complete Registration' event. Please select this event from the widget settings to enable tracking. Let me show you how:

    • In Form Builder, click the Wand icon of the Facebook Pixel widget.
    • In the menu that opens, select the 'Complete Registration' event.

This will send the selected standard events into the pixel dashboard. If you're still encountering the same issue, let us know so we can investigate the issue further.

    Yes, thank you. I left a second comment on the article that I noticed I only have the issue with the Complete Registration conversion not working. The "Lead" and "Submit Application" events do work for me, but when I tested using "Complete Registration" the event did not work. As a result, I am using "Submit Application."

    Thanks for getting back to us and for the clarification. Can you tell us what's happening when you select "Complete Registration"? Meantime, you can try removing the Facebook Pixel widget on your form and adding it back to see if it makes any difference.

    Thanks for answering, it helps me. I was really struggling to get started on my essay, and I was starting to feel really overwhelmed.
