Entering long text on the browser textarea can be painful. That’s why we are always on the lookout for improvements we can make on the form user interface. Today, we are excited to release two new additions to our Text Area field. You can see a demo form here.
Rich Text Editor
Instead of just plain text let users format styles of their entries.

Fullscreen Mode
Entering large amounts of text on a text area field is painful. Fullscreen Mode gives you the ability to let users write text in a browser full screen without any distractions.

When are you going to fix the Rich Text Entry Limit (Max length) problem please? It won't alter the word counter as users input their text, and gives no warning when you go over the limit.
<p></p>
<p></p>If you validate the field, it warns on submission, but if users follow the link to go back, it resets the field and users lose everything they had just input.
<p></p>
<p></p>I'm new to Jotform and overall it's a great product. But it seems like this is quite an old issue that needs addressing please.
<p></p>
<p></p>Thank you.
Excellent,... Very Very Good..
Thanks for your answer! But it is not possible to limit how many times you can press enter so that the textbox will be longer and longer and longer. I am searching for a tool (or code) wich makes it possible, that users only can type within the textbox - like writing on a physical postcard.
The "Max Lenght" also did not work!
Not a good editor! I can press Enter and press and press ... and the form is endlessly long! Is there no limit? So that the user can only write in the box?

Hello,
<p></p>
<p></p>is it possible to limit the functions? I just need bold, Fontsize and Font-Family.
Tried the demo on both Chrome and IE on Windows 8 and all text editors look the same (no rich, no full-screen).
<p></p>Is something broken?
Help! I noticed that when i used the rich text editor, the data is lost when the user "EDIT" the submission through the edit link.
Another innovation. Great going Jotform team.
JUST COOL
Good job, always innovating!!!! Congrats!!!!
Just activated the full screen mode on my 2 forms, excellent innovation.
Would be great adding "smileys" too. :)
The "Upload Image" function is holding the icon "HTML". I believe this might be confusing for most users.
Are there smilies? :D
