resending an auto responder mail to applicants

I have an auto responder set up with an {edit_link} in it so people can return to their own forms online and make changes.

    This is great.

Unfortunately due to new AOL protocols (that is the mail not being delivered because sender email in the jotform didnt match that of the joomla site it is embedded in) none of the applicants received the auto responder mail, and therefore have no access to their form.

    So

I want to 'resend' this auto responder now I have corrected the email issue. Each applicant being sent their personal link to their own forms.

Is this possible, I cant find any way to do this via jot form, will I need to delve into my database to retrieve these initial mails?

    Any advice appreciated.

    Hi Paul,

Unfortunately, we don't have a direct feature that would allow you to do this. A workaround would be to do the following:

    1. Copy your autoresponder email

    2. Create an additional form notification email: https://www.jotform.com/help/25-Setting-Up-Email-Notifications and paste the autoresponder email message there.

    3. Add a send an email after submission logic and point it to the additional notification email. Please refer to this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/167-How-to-send-to-a-specific-email-address-based-on-a-selection. You can add it like this, this is a clone version of your form:

{emailAddress120} is the field tag of your form email field.

Save you form and start re-submitting submissions from the form submissions page. Click "Edit" button and re-submit:

The process is simple, we create the additional notification and use it to the logic to send your message which is supposed to be your autoresponder. But note, there's a downside in using this method. Your submitters will see an "EDIT" prefix to the email subject:

Hope this works for you. Let us know if you are confuse about the steps.

    Thank you!
