    Hi guys,

is it possible to not allow the user type special chars (eg. $,;/@) in "Full Name" under quick tools?

I know this is possible for text fields and would like to apply the same validation for "Full Name".

    Thanks in advance,

    Maria.

    Hi Maria,

Unfortunately the combo Full Name field from Quick Tools do not have an Input Mask property similar to the Textbox field. So this is not possible to do in the jotform builder.

You can instead just use dual Textbox field and mimic the Full Name field style.

    OR

The possible method to achieved this on the Full Name field is to use the form's full source code.

    http://www.jotform.com/help/104-How-to-get-the-Full-Source-Code-of-your-Form

and then just inject your own custom scripts to prevent special char being used on the Full Name field.

Hope this help. Inform us if you need more assistance.

    Thanks.
