Hello,
I am trying to import data into access 2010, I have downloaded the excel file form jotform - all OK, I have selected the data I want to import and ensured field names match - all OK; when I use the "wizard" in access 2010 to import all seems fine, field names match etc however when I "import" I get the "Unable to append" error message.
I have tried removing certain fields to see which ones are causing the problem and have identified the "Check Box" fields as the culprits! (I removed them in a test and it worked perfectly).
Can you please advise how I may import the "ticked" tick boxes in my jotform into my "yes/no" check box field in my access database.
many thanks
Bigbudgie

Hello bigbudgie,
It appears that this is a limitation when importing a spreadsheet from MS Excel to MS Access. Base on my findings, before importing the spreadsheet it is recommended that you convert the Yes/No check boxes to True/False values respectably. I am afraid this would have to be done manually. This should resolved the issue. Give this and try and do let us know how it goes. I will await your response.
Cheers!
