Can you set a limit to the quantity of products that are sold?

I want to create a form where there are multiple trip selections (products), however each trip would be limited to only 9 participants. Can this be accomplished, and if so, what are the steps?

We do not currently have a product limit option implemented in our payment tools, but there is a work around available which is based on the Inventory widget.
