How to not Have the [image name] on Spreadsheet While Using the "Image Upload Preview" Widget?

Hi. I am using google sheets, and the "Image Upload Preview" is working great, except that I have to manually delete the [image name] every time. Right now the Integration to Google Sheets is good, but the export is [image name] https...link.  It will be great to only have the link in the cell. The file_name could be in a different cell if you need for the widget to work. Can we do that? Thanks!

    Hi there,

On my tests, I understand what you are asking; but unfortunately, there is no workaround to achieve the scenario you want, because those values on Spreadsheet are defined to that integration by default and customization is not allowed.

However, I can advice you to use another upload tool called "File Upload" which is located under the "Form Tools" tab. With that one, when you integrate your form with Spreadsheet, it only adds a location of the file not the name. Please, see it from the below:

I hope this one will meet your needs. For further, asistance please let us know.

    Thanks.

Thanks! I will change to use that, it will not have the preview but will work better.

    Another question:

Where the files will be stored? I want to modify all to be 200px X 200px. I assume I will have to manually modify each image once the users upload the images.

    Thanks.

Unfortunately, you can't set a rule or converter for uploaded files' widths and heights. You can only restrict their sizes and file formats. However, the files are stored on the same link on the Spreadsheet document, so you can access them by copying and pasting their URLs to your browser.

In addition, after editing your submissions' uploaded files, you can remove and re-create the Google Spreadsheet integration. Your submissions will be stored with the new changes on your Spreadsheet.

    Thanks.
